A garage door is probably the biggest door ever to be installed in a house. The huge size is intended to provide enough access for vehicles. Unlike a typical door, this one has a complex opening and closing mechanism, which makes it quite daunting to install, thereby requiring the service of professional installers.
Most garage doors are made of either metal or fiberglass. Although both are durable and resilient, the latter is light and easier to install. Metal garage doors are, nonetheless, more difficult to penetrate, further protecting the house from intrusion.
